Congratulations to the University of Miami Hurricane football players selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, and those signed thereafter, this weekend! Below is a recap of who went where:
Jimmy Graham was selected in the third round by the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints on Friday as the 95th overall pick in the NFL. He will be joining fellow ‘Canes Jeremy Shockey (who he will undoubtedly be mentored by), Jonathan Vilma, and Glenn Sharpe. Following his selection, Graham told the Miami Herald: “It was an incredible moment for me. I can’t really put my emotions into words. I’m trying to stay calm because I was just on the phone with the Saints. We all jumped up, screaming and hollering. One of my friends with me actually lives in New Orleans. I went to the Super Bowl this year and wore a Saints hat. I screamed `Who Dat?‘ for about five hours straight!” Regarding the coaches at the University of Miami, Jimmy stated “I give a lot of credit to the coaches at Miami for giving me the chance and preparing me for an opportunity to play in the NFL. I owe them a lot for making this dream come true.”
Darryl Sharpton was selected in the fourth round by the Houston Texans as the 102nd overall pick. Sharpton will be joining fellow Hurricanes Andre Johnson, Rashad Butler, Chris Myers, and Eric Winston. Following his selection, Sharpton told the Miami Herald: “I was choked up, at a loss for words. Most of the time when you have a conversation with someone you take in what they say, but I was so emotional I could hardly speak.” Regarding the coaching staff at the University of Miami, Sharpton said “I thank them for the foundation they gave me and the work ethic. I will continue my hard work at the next level.”
Jason Fox was selected in the fourth round by the Detroit Lions as the 128th pick overall. Following his selection, Fox told the Miami Herald: “I can’t say enough how this is a blessing, a tremendous opportunity,” Fox said. “All I wanted was an opportunity. I’ve got a shot to make an NFL team and this has been a lifelong dream.” Regarding the coaching staff at the University of Miami, Fox said “I’m very thankful for all my great coaches and for everything UM has done for me.” Fox will be the lone Miami Hurricane on the Lions’ roster . . . which explains a lot about their W/L record of late.
Dedrick Epps was the final Hurricane to go in the NFL draft, selected in the seventh round by the San Diego Chargers, 235th overall. He is the lone Miami Hurricane on the Chargers’ roster.
Sam Shields, WR/CB/ST
Sam Shields signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, joining fellow Miami Hurricane Khalil Jones.
Javarris James, RB
Javarris James signed as a free agent with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, joining fellow Miami Hurricane Reggie Wayne.
AJ Trump signed as a free agent with the Pittsburg Steelers on Saturday. He is the lone Miami Hurricane on the Steelers’ roster.
Joe Joseph, DT
Joe Joseph signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, joining fellow Miami Hurricane Kareem Brown.
Randy Phillips, S
Randy Phillips signed as a free agent with the Lions on Sunday to join Jason Fox up in Detroit.
Eric Moncur, OLB
Eric Moncur signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, joining fellow Miami Hurricane Antonio Dixon.
Congratulations to the newest pro ‘Canes! We look forward to cheering for you on Sundays and following your long and successful careers in the NFL!

baby j didn’t get drafted, that’s what running out of bounds to much will do for you, 1st if you are often injured, and you’re always looking to run out of bounds, in nfl circles that’s not going to make you seem like a tuff guy. Now tey’ll definitely give you a call when they need a back to help a team/them run the 2 minute drill with no time-outs, because out of all the players in thisdraft, baby j was an expet at knowing how to run/get out of bounds to stop the clock. He’s the highest rated no time-outs, 2 minute drill running back coming out of college football.
jsq, you still not feeling well, damyum, you holding on to that sickness like a jello shot, let it go or as bg luvs, “release the kraken”.
lakers getting they zz whooped right now just like atlanta, 1 time for john salmons and probably his last good game of the play-offs, he’s always good for 1 real good game, than he fades back into his shell(maybe this’ll fire em up).
By the way, when timmy got drafted in the 1st round by the denver bronco’s, somewhere u.s.a., i got a feeling somewhere solar was smiling.

ain’t Chud an assistant in San Diego again? Epps fell into a good situation. Just gotta keep working on his blocking cause you know Gates is going to be the primary guy they look to throw to amongst the TEs.

Cal, lol, I’m slippin’, esp. since he went to Detroit, that graveyard for 1st rounders. Is Calvin Johnson still up there fightin’ the good fight?? And who’s their HC nowadays? I don’t remember one since Wayne Fontes. lol
One thing’s for sure though, if they get a GM who bit on Fox they should just build their entire roster around Canes for the next four years then they’ll be straight. haha
Cal, lol. Javariss is definitely the best 2 minute drill back coming out. hahaha Hopefully he’ll get a few years injury free so he can pad his portfolio. Same with Fox, Trump and Sharpton. I don’t see any of them staying around long but it’s be nice if they proved me wrong.
cc, looks like they took it down or something, not sure what happened to it myself went to go look for it, couldn’t find it either.
Are we talking about the Warren Sapp interview where he bashed Billy Corben? That was on WQAM on 4-21:
http://www.wqam.com/index.php?page=347&sid=ig73e8s0d7oop0rfnancgf43eo345fg5
Off to Home Depot to buy more mulch! Orange and white flowers planted and they are beautiful!!!
cav, this class coming in is real underrated, lol. Was watching highlights of jeremy davis, lol, wheeewww weeee, he can play both ways for sure, but him at db, his closing speed is ridiculous, once he makes up his mind to where he’s going, he gets their in a hurry. That’s the one freshman that i can see actually who can come in and take somebody’s spot, or be in the rotation early and often. eduardo clements reminds me of frak gore for the most part but not as elusive or fast, but he’s that type of runner.
If this gerald mccoy guy was drafted that high, and he basically was getting man handled all game being single blocked by figs, figs has to have the most pancake blocks on the team and i’m sure he’s closing in on UM history if they’re actually keeping that stat. I’m still bothered by this o-line grading system though. When they say this o-linemen graded out at this percentage, and when it’s high and it was being applied to an o-line that was getting jacory abused, somebody needs a new prescription for their glasses.
jsq, i was talking about another one sapp did on the dan lebatard show, it would’ve made alot of yall proud when he started talking about the gaytors and “thee incompetent one”! For some reason they took it down since yesterday!
cav, this interview with mark whipple explains some of the ridiculous plays calls at crucial times last year in games. Basically he’s saying it’s harder in college than it is in the pro’s cause in the pro’s they give you the answer’s before you take the test. “MAN UP” this year whipple, “MAN UP”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKP1T4Iwe8I
This lovett guy u can tell he’s real solid with his knowledge, and it showed with the defense in most games.

BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK COMPETE IN LCAC

The boy and girls track team competed in the LCAC regional meet at Island Coast Monday and Tuesday.
The highlight of the night was the 100 meter dash Final. Our own Jeremy Davis and Joseph Bird of Baker had a showdown in the final 50 meters. It looked that Davis edged out Bird for first place but the final results were that Bird won (10.40 to 10.41). The final results for the boys were Baker winning it’s second straight LCAC Title with our Seahawks coming in 4th place. Our girls came in a strong 7th place. Congratulate Erik Eaton and Jeremy Davis for coming in second place in their respected events!

Ibis and Cal, I’d love to see Davis returning something. Between him and LA you gotta think we have our next returner with afterburners. haha Then of course there’s Miller Time.
Does anyone have any inside scoop on exactly how the LA situation came to fruition?
Cal, that vid on Whipple leads me to believe his play-calling will be a lot better this year with a year’s experience against these respective ACC squads. And if he can’t dismantle that tired-azz OSU zone, he needs to keep his azz right here for a minute or two before he jumps to the NFL.
It should be lights out this year, as long as we stay healthy at QB and Nelson, K-Rob, Futch and CJ are able to contribute meaningful minutes.
Cal great point about McCoy getting more or less whooped by Figs. If Figs handled him him should be able to do the same against OSUs big, strong but slow DTs. And he should be going in the 1st or 2nd.
Doc Ibis!

Latest Barry Jackson.
A UM official said the school is finally close on a contract extension for coach Randy Shannon, barring any late surprises, and noted the process has been difficult because of the demands of Shannon’s agent, Neil Cornrich. A UM person said Cornrich inexplicably cited UM’s lack of an on-campus stadium as a reason to pay Shannon more.
UM, eager to get the deal done before the May recruiting period, has offered about $1.4 million per year in base salary (below the $1.75 million median for Atlantic Coast Conference coaches) but bridged the gap by offering more attainable incentives. Shannon has one year left on his deal; the new deal likely would run through 2013 or ’14.

Dang, Calvin, I would have liked to hear that Sapp interview!
Bg, that’s the best news I’ve heard in a long time! I can’t wait to write an article for the site all about it! I’ve been waiting since the site launched! Pay Randy!!!
Okay, 8 bags of mulch and ten orange and white plants later, the front yard and walkway are done.
The back yard is the real beast. I should be done sometime before the FAMU game!
I need a nap!!!
Going to have sweet dreams of contract extensions in my head! Woo hoo!
Talk to you guys later!!!
Nashville.
I love the move for Bryant. Also the LB from Penn State was a balla before the injury.
JSQ.
I still don’t like the deal offered because its still SO far from the median. So it STILL keeps him at the bottom. To me that is shameful. BUT if he has the year I think he’ll have this year, he’ll get money! The boyz just HAVE to stay healthy.
How long does it take for a new gravatar to take effect?
Cav, don’t sell Fox short. Yeah he made a dumb comment, but gotta remember he started from day one here after playing TE in high school. And was the best lineman we had from that first Labor Day Night game against FSU. He’s good at what he does – which is pass protect. He’s gotta get stronger if he’s going to be more than a one dimensional tackle though. But he said he was working on that, so who knows. Detroit’s OT play has been suspect the past couple of years. He might be able to come in right away and steal a job if he’s healthy and steady working on getting that strength up. I thought he would have been best served by going to a team that did the zone blocking scheme, but still might be able to do his thing in Detroit.
good spot to go for him. good spot for Epps. Good spot for Graham. Sharpton even got a good spot since the Texans don’t have too much at LB outside of Ryans and Cushing. Should be able to win a spot on the roster.
bg, when i did mine it was pretty much instant.
@BG, we will be ready… I think the Spring has gotten us all over zealous (with good reason) but I still say 2011 is the year we blast off and don’t look in the rearview… Next year, we should be in ACC champs but whoever knows with this conference…
I have a question for JSQ aka admin and/or moneymike… Whats up with a Jeremy Davis interview?
Last I saw he had a 17 ACT but his GPA wasn’t that great, it was a 2.4 or something… I just want to know if he’s already qualified or what’s the word… We need all of our newly signed DBs, LBs, and TEs to get qualified and be on campus yesterday!!
And for the record, Jeremy Davis’s speed is really inconceivable… Devin Hester was a 10.42 guy and Philip Buchanon was a 10.5 guy… Latwan Anderson’s personal best is an 11.5 or something around there but he is still flying because he runs a 21.4 in the 200, which is blazing… Most people just about or more than double their 100 meter time when they run the 200, for example Usain Bolt runs a 9.6 hundred meter but a 19.2 in the 200… Anyway, its about to get real ugly, lol!!
i just saw an ad for a used car…said its new a few reparations.
it needs….
Go Canes!
Hey Doc,
I have approached Jeremy for an interview and he agreed. I talked to him at the Spring game and we’ve been in touch several times since then.
Sometimes these guys are difficult to pin down. Patience, my friend. I’m working it…

I just watched the movie The Blind Side (I had read the book previously) and you were right, very moving.
Fulmer mangling Ohers name, pronounced it O’Hare, and calling SJ CJ reminded me of when he called Graig Cooper, Craig Cooper. That ended Tennessees’ chances for Cooper.
Also the daughter Collins, do you remember early in the movie when Bullock said, I figured you’d be at your boyfriends house? Do you know who her boyfriend was? HINT: He went to The University of Miami, briefly.
mm01
I’m happy with the Dolphins draft. Wish we didn’t go O line in the third but for some reason theyre hell bent on getting rid of Smiley so he’ll come in handy. Odrick will get PT and love the fact that we double up on LBs. We need the bodies at that position.
At free safety, maybe we’ll go after Otogwe in St. Louis on June or July 1st when we’ll have better leverage (something about the Rams being able to match the offer until that date). Our secondary is young and still a liability but if we can start to get pressure on the QB it’ll make em look better. That sounds familiar:)
With FSU down to their last strike and out, FSU batter belted a two-run shot in bottom of the ninth, UM loses another lead, lost 7-6
DZ8,
I thought it was a solid draft, too. When you throw in Marshall, it looks excellent…
canes blew it again, left runners on base all day, can’t win without runs, ugh!
Next year we’ll draft RBs, safeties and tight ends.
Bg, I’m with you. I think Randy should be paid in the same rank as we finished in the ACC, which would put him ABOVE average. But if he can get there on incentives, that will work!
I love that movie, DZ8!!! Who did Collins date from UM?!
I hope you had a great birthday, bg!
Where is our other birthday boy, Canesx3?!
Bg if the avatar hasn’t taken effect by tomorrow, I can change it for you myself if you email me the picture you want!
That’s pretty funny, Esteban! Reparations. Sounds like the kind of ad Leno used to make fun of.
What Esteban said re: Fox. +1.
Damn ‘Noles.
JSQ
Cannon Smith. They mention it in the book.
Production company Alcon Entertainment acquired the picture from News Corp.’s Twentieth Century Fox, after executives at that studio decided they didn’t like its commercial prospects.
Alcon executives’ attentions were brought to the movie by producer Molly Smith, whose father, FedEx Corp. founder and Chief Executive Frederick W. Smith, is also Alcon’s owner.
But the Smith family’s ties to the movie go even deeper, thanks to another of Mr. Smith’s 10 children. Ms. Smith’s youngest brother, Cannon, is in real life the long-time boyfriend of one of the movie’s main characters, Collins Tuohy — the daughter of Sean and Leigh Ann Tuohy and the adoptive sister of Mr. Oher.
“Obviously, I knew the story,” says Ms. Smith. “I read the screenplay and I fell in love with it.”
(Making matters even more confusing, the actress who plays Collins Tuohy in the movie is named Lily Collins.)
Like Mr. Oher, the younger Mr. Smith is a burgeoning football star. After playing one season for the University of Miami last year, Cannon Smith transferred this year to University of Memphis. NCAA rules prevent him from playing ball until next year, when he is expected to return as a quarterback for his hometown school.
Re: the Dolphins’ draft: I though it showed some wisdom to bring in guys in the draft to help them in the trenches and then use the trade with that team that is dead to me to bring in a more flashy player/positin because he is proven. They have been burned before so it is good to see them do it this way. Also, for the people complaining that they didn’t bring in this or that: the Fins have a lot of holes. More holes than this draft can plug. After next year, they should be more solid. Thereafter, they can just stock up like the Saints, Ravens, etc. did. JMO.
Wow, I had no idea. Need to read the book! Didn’t even know there was a book! Thanks, DZ8! Once I finish the one I am reading now, I’m going out to get it!
Dansby is the only proven linebacker on the team (Crowder could be considered proven if he wasn’t injured) but with the draft we got about 2 ILB, and 2OLB and the ILB from SD, Dobbins, coming in. A couple of those guys should be producers.
In the secondary the only real weak spot is FS. We have a young player in Culver and another in Clemons who we hope can develop, in addition to Jones in the draft. We still might make a play for a free agent, Sharper? Otogwe?
Miami doesn’t have that many holes to fill. There is a chance our young players will not continue to develop and then we would have more holes but we are on track right now.
I’m pleased with the draft. Not pleased with everything this regime has done but nobody is perfect:)
Dwayne Wade is killking it in the 4th quarter!
DZ8, everthing I know about the Fins is from WQAM, because I’m not much of a fan since they don’t have anyone but Big Vern. I’m sure you know a lot more about the holes on the team than me. I just spent a lot of time in the car yesterday and heard quite a bit of calls from fans and explanations from the guys and below was what my analysis was from hearing that. I think they just did a conservative draft because that is Parcells’ nature and because of their needs. It didn’t make sense for them to go after a bunch of flashy players if they don’t have any pass rush. That was more of a liability. Anyway, I think it was a good draft for the Fins and I’m glad because I don’t like my friends to be crabby on Sundays!
^speaking of people who need to sign contract extensions!
DZ8,
what do you think about moving Starks to NT? And using Culver or Clemons, or even Davis at FS?
I’m sure you read, but Davis did start 13 games his JR. year at FS…
JSQ
I thought it was a spot on analysis.
mm01
I REALLY liked Starks production at DE last year. He came up with some very timely plays for us last year and I thought he had a chance to make it to the Pro Bowl so on the one hand I’m not thrilled about taking our best player from one position to another. Might make two spots weaker. On the other hand he has the size for it and seems to be on board (I don’t trust any comments by this regime too much). We have other depth at DE and maybe this’ll spark Solia. I’ve never seen him play nose in running situations but Bernardino said Omar has and says Starks can handle it.
I never heard of Vontae Davis as a Free Safety. I have heard talk of Will Allen or Sean Smith moving over but I don’t think either one of those are likely (Ireland said as much recently). I think we’ll bank on Colver/Clemons/Jones or possible Sharper or Otogwe. I don’t think we’re done spending money.
Thanks, DZ8. I listened to so much WQAM yesterday instead of listening to the same 5 songs they repeat all day on the other stations and I was on the go from 9am to 11pm so it was like a crash course in Fins football! Haha. So I wasn’t sure because if you are listening to the wrong dude, you can get the wrong idea. For example, Joe Rose will give you a better view of the ‘Canes than Sid Rosenberg.
If you guys didn’t get a chance to hear them yesterday, WQAM had great interviews with our guys. I like Fox’s and it made me understand his comment in his interview with Mike a lot more. Good stuff!
I meant Jones, not Davis. Sorry.
Ok I am going back to bed. Sooooo sore from landscaping! Those bags of mulch are heavy! Or maybe I am just weak from not working out for 7 days!
Talk to you guys later on!
Thanks again for telling me about the book, DZ8! I’m so excited to read it (and a little embarrassed I didn’t know it was a book, haha!).
I agree, U never who will be released before camp, another round of free agency coming soon…
I thought that Fox comment got blown way out of proportion, by almost everyone. He said he had no weaknesses and then in the very next statement he says he needs to work on his run blocking. Read between the lines people, haha. He was coached by someone to sound confident.
One of my draft preview mags has Sharpton saying pretty much the exact same thing.
I’m not a Dolphin fan but I’m noticing this trend…
Hurricanes sign a high character recruiting class with about 5 olinemen, three dlinemen, and a few LBs… Our bandwagon fans boo and hiss and piss all over the floor about it…
Randy says this class is about building a solid foundation, creating depth and competition, we didn’t need alot of skill players… We wanted to get bigger more athletic guys to block for our skill players and that will go a long way in rebuilding the program…
The Dolphins draft mostly high character defensive players, only one DB, and the other an O-Lineman… The fans get to ranting and raving about what the Dolphins are doing and blah blah blah…
The Dolphins front office is saying, we are trying to create competition and depth at these spots… We are trying to get a strong foundation on defense and build this team starting young…
It seems like coaches know WAAYYYYYYY more than Mel Kiper/Rivals.com… And the coaches are always saying the same thing while the “experts” just tell us how big a kid is and how fast he runs…
i’d say work Will Allen in at FS just in case Clemons or Culver don’t progress enough. But give Clemons and Culver the opportunity to win/lose the job.
and I’d say leave Starks at DE. Try out Odrick at NT – at least in combo with big Ute. Have them try to hold it down til Ferguson is back.
Article updated to include Joe Joseph and Randy Phillips, who signed today.
Okay, now I really am going back to bed. I need to get well ASAP!
Starks body type is better inside than Odrick. Odrick will slide inside on obvious passing downs. He does play with good leverage but I see him as being an end in the 3-4 and dt in any 4-3 fronts we run.
I expect to run some more 4-3 fronts with Mike Nolan.
Will Allen is a pro and doesn’t need many reps at corner even coming off injury. I think it would be prudent to give him a shot at free safety and see if we got some lightning in a bottle there.
I was pretty close on my Canes projections Esteban.
Had the right round but off by about 4 picks on Graham.
Right tound on Sharpton.
Off on Fox by one round.
Right on Epps.
Off on JJ and SS.
. . . and then there were 10!!!!
Updated again to include Moncur to the Eagles!
I’m never going to get my nap at this rate!
GO ‘CANES!!!
Thats good that Moncur went to the Eagles because thats where the specialist is that they sent him last year for his abdominal injuries. Hope those are behind him and he has a long and successful career.
One more, JSQ.
Trump to Pittsburgh
That’s already in there, Mike
You mean to tell me that nobody is giving Tevaris Johnson a look? That’s crazy!!
BG happy belated bro!
Many more….
GO CANEZ!!!!!
JSQ, I’m going to be sending you the defensive recap for Phil Steele, for you review, in the next few minutes, around 6
Texted you Mike
Very happy for Moncur. He deserves a happy ending!
Canez 1.
Thanks bro.
that video Calvin posted earlier had Moncur abusing the #4 pick in the draft.
Este,
what is your gravatar?
Yep yep jsq, that sapp video got pulled seemed like real quick for some reason and replaced with alot of stuff that wasn’t up their. If it can’t be found i’ll sum up what sapp was saying, but typing it is not going to do justice to me, but i’ll post it up if it can’t be found.(datCANE, you got work to do).
esteban, out of all the guys that got drafted from UM, moncur had the most talent. Had he been healthy, he would’ve killed a whole lot of teams. He made the defense that much better, he was the one guy that would’ve gotten a pass rush, like bailey said, he was the most missed out their on that defense/field.
Moncour deserves a happy ending……….
Nice.
JSQ, you’ve gotta be doing this stuff on purpose…….
Hurriphin . . . Wow. I didn’t even realize what I wrote!
It’s a conspiracy, Calvin!
Whaa??
I’m confused. (but that’s not hard to do)
I wait a damn near an hour to hear what Kiper has to say about the Fins draft, and I swear… NOT ONE STINKING WORD! Or from McShay! It’s all about the the effin Jets and Pats…
WELL I GOT NEWS FOR U GUYS, THE JETS HAVEN’T WON THE DAMN DIVISION IN YEARS, THE FINS BEAT THEM TWICE LAST YEAR! (and won the division 2 years ago) I hate the Pats, too.
Not one word.
Excuse my outburst, I was momentarily angry with ESPN.
Now back to regularly scheduled blogging…
Haha, Mike, no worries!
Read Phil Steele and had one correction. Otherwise, looks great!!!
Here is my rant: I am feeling sick again! I felt better this morning and now I feel crappy and I am missing out in raspberry martinis right now! Grrrrrrrr! WTF?! I better be 100% by Friday – I have a house guest flying in for the weekend
Being sick blows!!!!!!
Lil billy corben might be making his network rounds and paying people to take down the sapp interviews.
I’ll summarize what how that sapp interview went with lebatard, you know how lebatard do it.
lebatard: so sapp, does it sicken you at all the success that the gaytors are having?
sapp: what success, what they got 2 championships, kelvin harris walks around with 3 championship rings on his hand, so i know a CANE alone who walks around with more championships than their whole football history. Than they always try to bring up their basketball team, so should i bring up baseball and tennis, what, that’ll bring us to 20 titles alone.
stugotz: they got 3 sapp, they won with spurrier
sapp: they got 3, ok, so, come talk to me when you get more than 3
lebatard: It was said during the draft that gerald mccoy would have signed had you been on campus when he came for his visit, what happened?
sapp: I never got a phone call, you know i bleed orange and green and anything i can do to help my university, i’m their, that was an easy one. That’s part of how andre johnson got here, i had no problem with that one.
Anyway, he started going off on “thee incompetent one” a lil bit too, but it was good to hear though.
Hi JSQ,
If you want to feel better really fast, go to Whole Foods or a Health Food Store and buy something called “Immunity Shots”. It is a liquid of oregano, ginger and colloidal silver. You will feel better really fast. Speak to Mike. He knows who I am, so I am telling you this with some idea of what I am talking about.
oh jsq & cc i found it click on the one that says 04/22/10 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m.

Thanks rejuvaphan! I’m stopping by Whole Foods tomorrow! Woo hoo! I can’t wait to get better!!!
Thanks, Calvin. Sapp has never been one of my favorites but stuff like that makes me reconsider.
Thanks Calvin!!! You’re the best!!!
Yeah, JSQ, he’s the resident Doc.
lol, just always good to hear somebody who knowss the same things we know about oscar cryer and “thee incompetent one”.
In the meantime, and in the big scheme of things, cryer/the gaytors represent the mice, and Miami and fsu represent the cats, while we were away, those mice had a chance to come out and play, well the big/main cat is coming back, and the other cat up in trailer-hassee seems to be about to wake up.
Had timmy and his cronies had a chane to play us this year, they would’ve gotten blasted, now people should understand how strong a game we played against a team that had a 3 year headstart on us, had a so called heisman trophy winner, percy harvin and others and barely escaped by the skin of their teeth, with a coaching staff that had been in place long enough, meanwhile we had nix calling garbage plays, bill young did a real good job with the defense in that game, etc. etc. I’m sick of this crap, we getting ready to bust heads this year.
Calvin, sing it with me:
WE READY . . .
WE READY . . .
WE READY . . .
FOR Y’ALL!!!!!
Mike, at this point, I’ll try anything. I can’t take it easy this week like I did last week. Got a brief to write and have plans every night and I can’t cancel them! Thanks again, rejuvaphan!!!
jsq, we just gone come out like this, this year, no words needed, we just gone actionize on everybody’s aspirin this year:

bg, sapp was funny in that one, the thing that always makes melaugh is, sapp never wanted to be classified as a fat guy, or a guy ith a fat body, in this video you can tell that he’s convinced that he’s not just by the way he carries himself:

Sapp interview was great…thnx for the link cal
this info from all-canes:
Four Canes drafted in 2010 is the most since five Canes went in 2007. Three went in 2008, with Kenny Phillips the last Miami first rounder. In 2009, back up linebacker Spencer Adkins was UM’s only pick; a sixth rounder. The last time a lone Cane was drafted? Cornerback Gene Coleman in 1980.
talk about the cupboard being bare!

The 2nd one needs to get watched, too. Half the time I didn’t blame him for running out of bounds since there weren’t more yards to get. The other half…yeah he left a lot of potential yards out there that he could have got with one broken tackle, spin, juke, whatever.
