But also agree w/ the Capt that the D tended to start flat. Why else would FAMU score first, or VA take a 1st Q lead. Look at our Ds red zone performance. Outstanding TD/FG ratio. If we could stop everybody in the RZ, why couldn't we stop them in midfield? It seemed like our guys got their backs up in the RZ, but also because in midfield our DBs were spread all over and they could always slip a TE or RB out into the clear. I mentioned predictability. Watch the LBs in midfield -- 3 across and 5 yards deep. Once in the RZ they actually seemed to get involved in the game. I zinged the STs before, especially the coverage. Work to do there. I agree we could have much improved running game. 1) We should have the lead more often. 2) We have Patrick and some beasts up front. Did you notice Washington trot (trudge) back from 5+ yards downfield vs Wisc? Steamroller! Calvin-
