I’ve got no choice, I have ATT Uverse. Supposedly their compression algorithm as well as their bandwith sucks. All I know is that my HD picture is only just ok, and at times I get really sucky artifacts, black levels aren’t right, etc. Plus the fios internet speed is crazy fast…and it’s fiber optic into and throughout the house.
The crazy thing is – it could literally be years, maybe even more than a decade before we even have the option to get Verizon fios.
Hope you can get it where you’re moving to….and no I don’t work for Verizon or have anything to do with them, they just have the best product out there, imho

Hurri, OSU had about four big plays. Two runs of more than 40 and two passes of more than 40. An INT and a Marshall fumble on a KO. Basically the same as the New Mexico St. game last year. Marshall couldn’t get any push up front but they had some success throwing.
Meanwhile, Rutgers has struggled with a team FAMU plays regularly, Norfolk St. 21-0 in the 4th. I think it was 7-0 at the half. Rutgers looks very slow compared to Us, small too.
It took awhile but the D-line exploded. Offense looks like a machine. Jacory gets the ball out so quick it looks unreal.
Seems as if Shannon is hiding something though. He didn’t play a few guys that I think he will come next Saturday.

Pryor looked improved. His footwork and deliveries are better. But it still looks like the same team and offense from last year.
Of course, they’ll have some more wrinkles for Us, esp. iso-s to the TE and RB on our LBs.

Canes great win, pleased with the result but now begins the season. Watched a little bit of the OSU game they are good but if we come to play and stay focused I think we have enough to beat them. Seantrel is huge and didn’t Ray Ray look bigger than everyone on that pick?
Angry had to spend all night trying to get a virus off my laptop that I downloading while trying to find a live stream of the game. He was successful at 4 this morning. Needless to say I was in big trouble.

I agree with the Forston comments. looks much better but still needs to play 100% on 100% of plays. Hope he finds it. Flashes but nothing consistent.
Coop is not 100%. He was tentative with his lateral movements. Straight line is fine but thats not his game.

DB’s played a good game. I think we play nickel a good amount of the time this year.
Spence looks back to the form we were expecting. Dude was everywhere.

Tough to judge anything with this opponent because they were horrible for the most part with a couple players mixed in but I think you couldn’t ask for more. Good game.
IMO whipple is #2 at this point. Kid just looks like a player. #11 has a ways to go.
Pitt is exactly what we thought they were. Run the ball and play good D. They have no passing game. The QB is a midge.
Don’t discount Utah tho. They have a good team and are extremely tough at home.
Pitt will lose 3-4 games this year due to the QB starting for the first time. There is always a learning curve your first year behind the wheel.

i remember a guy at the practice saying that at least 5 guys were going to be suspended for the FAMU game and he named Futch as being one of those guys.
and Canez1 is definitely right on Pitt. They lack a QB that’s worth anything and because of that they will be losing 3-4 games and to teams with less overall talent. Just have to be able to throw the ball even a little. His OL did him no favors though. Their pass blocking was horrible. And yeah Utah is solid. They are headed to the PAC 10 for a reason.

Good first game and even greater to finally be in attendance. Before I start the work grind here were my thoughts on the game:
Passing O made it look easy but that wasn’t a surprise; and all Hank does is get open (Jacory better not get hurt)
First team O-Line did not look dominate, but as a unit I think they will be better then last year (and on second team Seantrel is HUGE)
First team RBs looked good but boy then when you put in those speedsters its a whole other element (and let me say while Miller is a stud, Clements looked FAST too)
DL – Vernon and M-Rob great play and good disruption from the whole line (but again consider the opponent)
LBs – Spence good game, CMac ehh
DBs – weren’t tested much though glad to see we got our first pick of the season (also DVD went to locker room with an injury or something in second half, anyone know what that was about?)
Number one impression – Horrible tackling! It was bad. It took Nelms in the 4th until we finally had a real tackle. Also to be honest, though we blew those boys out, from an execution standpoint, the game was far from flawless. These next nine days boys need to fix that ish.
Canez1, man i look at Ohio State’s DL and all the guys they lost and think life will be tough on their LBs this year. Especially when they want try to do the same things they did the past couple of years, but don’t take into account that a couple of the guys they had were “exceptions” to the rule. One DE was 250 or so and could run in the 4.4/4.5 range. So he could do things that the guy replacing him just won’t physically be able to do – like be used as a spy against any running QB out there. The other guy was 6’6, 285 and could play DE or DT cause he could move good for a guy his size but was strong too. Heyward can do that, but then who replaces what Heyward was doing? They always seem stuck trying to recreate things that special players provided – like continuing to do a lot of shotgun spread stuff even after Troy Smith left and their talent was obviously more suited for a run first, two RB set.
oh and their OL…their OTs are leaky.
Este good points. The one thing OSU does though is adjust their schemes around the talent.
They should be solid.
